Effective Date: 10/20/2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to GNetwork. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information:

  • Registration: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and possibly your payment information.
  • Event Creation: Brands creating events might need to provide additional details like event specifics, contact information, and possibly business registration numbers.
  • Contact Data: The name, email address, and phone number used to reach you about an invoice, a ticket, or an order — whether you entered it yourself or a host or admin entered it when invoicing you or adding you to an event.
  • Billing and Transaction Data: Billing name and address, the items or tickets purchased, amounts, taxes and fees, invoice and order records, payout and wallet balances, and the payment confirmation we receive back from our payment processor. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
  • Seller and Product Data: If you list products on the marketplace, the product titles, descriptions, images, prices, categories, and tags you publish, and the sales, earnings, and payout records tied to them.
  • Payout Identity Verification: Before you can withdraw a balance, we collect the details our payment processor requires to verify your identity and enable payouts, such as your legal name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and home address. Our payment processor may ask for more, such as a tax identification number or an identity document. See Section 5 below.
  • Connected Bank Account Data: If you connect a bank account for withdrawals, we receive from Plaid the account and routing numbers, account name, account type, and the last four digits of the account. See Section 5 below.
  • User Content: Messages or images you share via our messaging system.
  • Imported Phone Contacts: If you use the My Contacts Import screen in the GNetwork mobile app, we collect only the contacts you explicitly select after in-app consent, limited to name, email, and phone. See Section 3 below.

b. Non-Personal Information:

  • Usage Data: We log how you interact with our services, including pages visited, features used, and the time spent on our platform.
  • Device Information: Data about the device you use, such as device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Cookies and Pixels: Our website and checkout use cookies and the Meta Pixel, which record the pages you view, the actions you take (such as starting a checkout or completing a purchase), your IP address, and your browser. See Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising below.

3. Imported Phone Contacts

This section describes how GNetwork handles device address-book data from the GNetwork mobile app. We do not access your contacts unless you start an import yourself.

Contacts note: only user-selected contacts are uploaded, only after explicit in-app consent recorded server-side. Fields imported: name, email, phone.

a. When this happens

The GNetwork mobile app may access your device contacts only if you choose Import From Phone on the My Contacts Import screen. We do not read your address book in the background, and we do not automatically sync your full contact list.

b. Explicit in-app consent

Before any contact data is read from your device or uploaded to our servers, you must complete the in-app consent step on the My Contacts Import screen. That includes reviewing the disclosure, checking the consent box, and tapping Agree & Choose Contacts. We record that consent on our servers (consent version, platform, app version, and timestamp) before upload. The operating system’s Contacts permission prompt is shown only after that in-app consent is given.

c. What is uploaded

After consent, you review importable contacts on your device and choose which ones to import. Only the contacts you keep selected are uploaded and saved. We store only:

  • Name (first name and last name)
  • Email address
  • Phone number

We do not import notes, postal addresses, birthdays, photos, company names, social profiles, or other address-book metadata.

d. How imported contacts are used

Imported contacts are saved to your private My Contacts list on your GNetwork account. You may use them in your own Products and Event marketing systems — for example, inviting selected contacts to your products or events and managing audience lists. GNetwork does not sell imported contacts and does not use them to market GNetwork’s own services to those people.

e. Control and deletion

You can delete any imported contact from My Contacts at any time. You can also request deletion of your account and associated data as described in this policy and our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.

4. The Members Directory

Having an account and appearing in the Members Directory are two separate things. We use your contact and billing data to run your account no matter what — to issue and collect invoices, fulfill tickets, and operate the marketplace. Your listing in the Members Directory is a separate, optional disclosure that you control.

a. What the directory shows

If you opt in, the Members Directory displays a limited set of profile fields to other members: your name, your profile photo, your role on the platform, and the categories you list yourself under. It does not display your email address, phone number, billing address, invoices, orders, tickets, or wallet balance.

b. Opting in and hiding your listing

You can turn your listing on or off at any time under Settings → Privacy → Show in the Members Directory. Turning it off removes your profile from the directory going forward. Copies already cached by search engines or saved by other members may persist for a time outside our control.

c. Accounts created by a host or admin

A host or admin may create an account for you solely so they can send you an invoice or manage your attendance at an event. An account created this way is not listed in the Members Directory unless you claim it and opt in yourself. To claim it, request a password at Lost Password using the email address the host used to invoice or invite you; once you sign in, the account and its privacy settings are yours. If you cannot access that email address, please contact us here.

d. Hiding does not affect what you have paid for

Hiding your directory listing, or never opting in at all, does not cancel your tickets, void or excuse your invoices, or remove your access to your wallet and balances. No host may require you to appear in the directory as a condition of paying an invoice, registering for an event, or attending one.

5. Wallet Payouts, Connected Banks, and Our Payment Partners

Members can earn a wallet balance on GNetwork, for example from product sales, ticket sales, and affiliate commissions, and can withdraw it to a bank account. This section explains the data involved and who handles it.

a. Connecting a bank account with Plaid

GNetwork uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect your bank account. When you choose to connect a bank, you sign in to your bank through Plaid, not through GNetwork, and we never see or store your online banking username or password. Plaid then sends us the account details listed in Section 2 so we can pay your withdrawals into that account.

By connecting a bank account, you grant GNetwork and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

We use connected bank data only to verify the account, show it to you as a payout method, and send your withdrawals. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not read your bank transactions.

b. Identity verification and payouts with Stripe

Payouts are processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). To enable withdrawals, we create a Stripe account for you and share with Stripe the identity details listed in Section 2, your connected bank account, and your payout and transaction history. Stripe uses this to verify your identity, meet its legal obligations (including anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and tax reporting rules), prevent fraud, and move your money. Stripe processes this data as described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

c. Unlinking a bank account

You can remove a connected bank account from your payout methods at any time. We keep records of withdrawals already paid to it, as described in Section 8.

6. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Provision: To facilitate event ticketing, manage messages between members, and provide customer support.
  • Invoicing, Payments, and the Marketplace: To process your contact and billing data so we can issue and deliver invoices, take payment, fulfill and validate tickets, run marketplace orders between members and vendors, calculate fees, affiliate commissions, and wallet balances, issue refunds, and keep the tax and accounting records we are required to keep.
  • Wallet and Payouts: To verify your identity before you withdraw, keep your payout methods on file, review and send withdrawals to your connected bank account, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse of balances.
  • Your Products & Event marketing: If you import contacts, to power your private My Contacts list and the Products and Event marketing tools on your account (only for the contacts you chose to import).
  • Marketing Communications: When you create an account, make a purchase, or register for an event, we may send you marketing emails about GNetwork news, features, events, and offers, including events and products from brands on our platform. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Opting out does not stop transactional messages such as receipts, tickets, invoices, and account or security notices. We send marketing text messages only if you have separately agreed to receive them, as described in SMS Text Messaging below.
  • Analytics: To understand usage patterns and improve our services.
  • Advertising: To measure how our ads perform and to show GNetwork ads to people who may be interested in our events, as described in Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising below.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

SMS Text Messaging

We only send text messages to the mobile number you give us when you have agreed to receive them. You can agree in two places, and each one is a separate choice:

  • At sign up: Below the phone number field, the checkbox “Consent to SMS marketing via Brands and Event hosts.” If it stays checked when you create your account, brands and event hosts on GNetwork may send you marketing texts through our platform about their events, products, and offers.
  • At checkout for event tickets: Below the phone number field, the checkbox “I agree to receive SMS updates about my event ticket. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.” If it stays checked when you place your order, we and the event host may text you about that ticket and event, such as reminders, door and venue details, and schedule changes.

Both checkboxes are checked by default, and you can uncheck either one before you continue. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of creating an account or buying a ticket. We record your choice, the time you made it, and the wording you saw.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also contact us to stop texts. Opting out of texts does not cancel your tickets or stop transactional emails.

We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing. Brands and event hosts send marketing texts through GNetwork, and SMS delivery providers process your number only to deliver those messages on our behalf.

Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising

We advertise GNetwork and events on our platform on Facebook and Instagram. To measure those ads and show them to the right people, our website (gnetworkclub.com) and our checkout (api.gnetworkclub.com) use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”). The Meta Pixel uses cookies to send Meta the pages you visit and the actions you take on them, such as viewing an event, starting a checkout, creating an account, or completing a purchase, together with your IP address, browser information, and identifiers from Meta’s cookies.

When you complete a purchase, we also send Meta the details of that purchase from our servers using Meta’s Conversions API. This includes the order value and currency, the items purchased, your IP address and browser information, Meta cookie identifiers, and your email address, phone number, name, and account ID. Your email address, phone number, name, and account ID are converted into a one-way hashed code before they are sent, so Meta can only match them to an account it already holds. Meta uses this to tell us whether our ads led to a sale, to improve ad delivery, and to build audiences for our ads, and Meta may combine it with other information it has about you. Meta processes this information under the Meta Privacy Policy.

You can control how Meta uses this activity to show you ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, including the setting for activity information from ad partners. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site, such as signing in and checkout, need some cookies to work.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, we may share it with:

  • Service Providers: For example, payment processors, data analytics companies, or event partners.
  • Stripe and Plaid: Stripe processes payments and payouts and verifies the identity of members who withdraw, and Plaid connects bank accounts, as described in Section 5.
  • Email, SMS, and Marketing Providers: Email and SMS delivery and marketing automation providers (such as Klaviyo), which process your name, email address, phone number, and account activity on our behalf to send communications. They may not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Advertising Partners: Meta receives website activity and purchase information through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, as described in Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising above. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this may be considered “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising.
  • Hosts, Vendors, and Event Organizers: When you buy a ticket, pay an invoice, or place an order, we share the contact and order details the seller needs to fulfill it and to keep their own records. This sharing happens whether or not you appear in the Members Directory, and it is separate from it.
  • Legal Reasons: If required by law or to protect our or others’ rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition.

Imported phone contacts stay on the importing user’s account. We do not share them with other members, and we do not sell them.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as necessary to provide you with our services or for other essential purposes like complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Imported contacts remain in your My Contacts list until you delete them or request account deletion.

Financial records, including orders, wallet transactions, withdrawals, and the identity and bank details tied to payouts, are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and anti-fraud laws require, even after you remove a bank account or delete your account. Stripe and Plaid keep their own records under their own policies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access or update your information.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • Opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
  • Object to processing of your data.

Please contact us here to exercise these rights.

10. Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Bank and identity details are limited to the people and systems that need them to verify accounts and send payouts, and full card numbers never touch our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, hence we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top.

13. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us here.
